The Cookie Law
Most UK websites are now breaking a new law introduced by the EU in May. It’s called the Cookie Law. Every UK site that uses cookies and 95% do, must give visitors the option of opting out. Google has launched some new algorithm updates lately the most recent is called Penguin. It has had a massive impact on a vast amount of websites and so it is even more important to get your seo correct.

We have had to change the way we list sites just to make sure it does not affect us too much. I also think that sites that don’t make the effort and keep seo friendly will be totally lost in Google.

 We would like to take this opportunity to apologise for the lack of content in our Newsletters over the last few months. Due to the ever demanding workload we have,  it has been a little bit of a struggle. On the positive side of things the Directory is still growing in size and just as importantly to you,  hits. In fact we have increased  hits from April 2011 – April 2012 by a staggering 240% compared to April 2010 – April 2011 our (first year) and  by Organic SEO alone (no paid advertising)
